🔑 Key Responsibilities

We’re a start-up with a big plans, and we need a team member who can be our “glue” -- we’re calling the job Generalist, but we really see it as very own Organizer of the Chaos; Trusted Thought-Partner; Truth-Speaker; and Execution Extraordinaire. Our Generalist’s responsibilities will cover a wide variety of our growing business areas - from improving our underwriting infrastructure, to lending a hand on product engineering, to working on projects with our founders. One of the most exciting parts of our Generalist position is that you’ll be on the front lines of the company’s most critical tech projects and you’ll have the opportunity to evolve your role and grow along with us.

In this role, the Generalist might work on:
- Process architecting: work closely with cross functional teams to establish and streamline business processes and system workflows
- Market research: conducting rigorous customer research to inform product decisions (and then work with the engineering team to implement)
- Sales Ops: creating the building blocks to support our revenue engine at different parts of the sales process
- Business Operations: overseeing staff / internal operations. Manage OKR and create decision making frameworks
- Marketing: managing our marketing efforts for brand awareness and lead gen, across multiple channels and managing different stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Special projects. Examples include setting up an outsourced operations team abroad, set up risk and analytics frameworks for customers, revamping the end-to-end customer journey

Future for this role: The Generalist will be working as an extension of the co-founders and directly with the CEO to set up systems and build scalable processes to help the company scale. This role is more focused on Operations. There is a lot of flexibility to move horizontally within the company.

What you’ll need:
- 3 - 10 years of work experience in one of the following: management consulting, investment banking and/or business operations at a fast growing tech startup

• You have a “get things done” mentality; you can dissect complex problems, identify solutions, and drive these solutions to completion with a high degree of autonomy

Nice to Haves:
- Experience in a high-growth startup in the payments industry
- Experience with no code tools (eg Zapier, Webflow), SQL, Salesforce, Outreach and other business systems and tools, or a strong willingness to learn
- Proficiency in data analysis (SQL, Python, or R).You have a “get things done” mentality; you can dissect complex problems, identify solutions, and drive these solutions to completion with a high degree of autonomy

This is a full time position in the San Francisco Bay Area (hybrid in-person/remote model).
