If we’re going to casually help people who ask us for things, we might as well respect that spirit and really do so like we mean it -- use our brainpower to use that same amount of time to be actually effectively helpful. Maybe I can’t help someone directly myself, but there’s someone in the world who can. If I really care about helping, then maybe I could help them FIND that person.
The mission of “systematic awesome” is much like the mission of deontological ethics – do nothing except that it could become a universal law “I ought never to act except in such a way that I could also will that my maxim should become a universal law” (G 4:402) ~Kant. Next time you’re moved to help someone who asks you for something, I invite you to be consistent with this impulse and see how it feels to take a step towards helping everyone. And also to help people who don’t ask or can’t ask but actually need the help. To actually care!

Anti addiction - use trauma knowledge to understand addiction. Don't pathologize it or dehumanize addicts. Understand them. Criminalizing or shaming addiction is not the way. Shame is a cause, engineer a society that prevents addiction because people aren't lonely and are deeply supported.

Communities of interconnected support - the loving social network around you can metabolize things that are too hard for us alone. Why should we have to go alone? Distribute the load! Help people!! Make it easier to find people who need help, and easier to help them! Normalize helping.

Like "circling"/authentic relating on steroids, or like ultra-mdma. True connection, human souls separate but dancing as one. How beautiful can it get when you craft a relationship that is so deep and strong it's fundamentally alien to what we're used to?
Imprisonment is wrong, why would you do that? Extends to war on drugs and "america world police" vibe. Stop shaming and protect everyone from crime, even criminals. Imprisoning people is a crime on humanity.
War is wrong. Peace is a stable attractor of the future and non violent ways to solve conflicts. We need to find the bits we all agree on and start from there. No killing necessary. Resolve all conflicts but don't skip past them before declaring world peace—no spiritual bypassing and convenient unawareness of others' suffering.
Food, medicine, therapy, healing, housing are human rights. Stop optimizing exclusively for capitalism's values (extracting max productivity until people are burnt out and depressed; you exist for work; most of your time spent living spent working). If there is scarcity, apply technology to solve it. Stop just making big number go up $$$. Optimize for human hours of consciousness being inherently valuable.
Creativity is holy. Build stuff.
Better yet, build stuff with friends. Make a think tank of your friends and come up with the best ideas for society and build those together. Collaborative financial support network (rich friends are benefactors, shared pools of wealth is ok if we stop feeling fearful of scarcity) makes dreams possible in the bridge between capitalism and post capitalism.
Write the stuff you care about. Express your innermost authentic thoughts. Even the jumbled and unfiguredout parts. Be ruthlessly honest to the universe. Your honesty is currency, your confusion is your superpower.

Yet, also many great leaders are simply not understanding how much many people on the internet are misunderstanding there true intentions.
WeMotions is a platform that creates a gateway for the voice of the people, to demand communication from the person, or corporation on certain subjects.

Each video button represents a new post (once per day), the flag represents the payoff which the followers are watching someone go towards with the daily video update.
For example, this creator made videos saying day 1 of their goal to Hug Elon musk and after posting daily for 62 days built a massive following which got Musk to hear about it multiple times, before he set it up.

Why Does This Work SO Well? (Especially At Manifesting Crazy Ideas)
Its all based on winning the competition of engagement of your fanbase, and of the algorithm. In this place 99.9% of videos are not a part of a greater narrative, so your short form consistent narrative towards a crazy idea builds a cult-like following wanting to see if things will manifest (and the algorithm notices). It is really able to hone into a niche, and this rallies attention of the world around an idea. As you prove yourself in continuing to try, and people become closer to you from consistently seeing you try, theres lots of compounding effects.
Even if they do not become a follower right away, story-hacking has a way of continuing to build a movement. When you engage fully with a video from any account, even if you don't follow them, their next video is likely to come up on your feed. 99.9% of videos are not consecutive storytelling videos by this I mean channels that continue telling the same path rather than act as a totally separate skit. Relative to your average video, videos which are storytelling to the previous one you hack the engagement of the people watching it.
We have a reason to CARE, and for a true FAN BASE to emerge of each story. As the storytelling of each new day repeats, a core fan base who consistently watched the entire update video of the story emerged. This is based on the quality of the content, progression of the story, and reward of the finish at the end of course. These channels if properly created with an interested end goal, end up viral hacking these short form platforms.
Content that is a SERIES that someone can follow and appreciate creates a far more compelled and engaged fanbase than any other thing. Each new video has a dedicated audience which helps viral hack the algorithm. The more dedication there is, the closer people realize the flag pole may be attained, the more invested in the story they become.
While lots of creators have recently been birthed from short form storytelling, such as waiting outside Twitter until they met Elon Musk, no creator has made that mission a part of a grander narrative for the world. Thus, even though these missions are expertly targeted, the viewers disengage once the content goes back to randomness.
Once that story ends, they go back to making mundane content, not related to a bigger narrative, and the views die.

Whats awesome about growth on any account, is that it can embolden any other thing you have. Most people tend to just send people to their instagram, maybe get followers there, some send people to newsletters or have a product to sell. There is actually no one who has taken the framework of developing multiple short form update narratives, leading to greater and greater missions.
Once a single account goes viral, every single other account will get more traction as well. A Linktree may be utilized to link people to all other accounts, or tags made in the comments or bio. A pinned video on each separate account can parlay this greater narrative overall to the viewers, so they follower all accounts.
Whats insanely cool about this is just how powerful of an idea this is. Theres something to be said about “Critical Mass” of ideas. Every idea someone commits too requires a different amount of critical mass to reach to get them truly interested and following. We are attracted to stories with insane potential, as we know the shorter our distance from their epicenter the better. With this idea, with so many accounts, the amount of commitment itself, and the uniqueness of this idea has a much much lower critical mass point for followers.

For posts shared to friends only, there’s no way to copy a link to the post at all. For links shared publicly, there’s only a way to copy a link to the Facebook post itself, not the actual URL linked therein (I’m guessing an exception may be if the link is actually written explicitly in the post content)
This really screws with my workflows and gets in the way of “freedom to automate”, which is important to me, partly from a disability rights advocacy standpoint – if you can’t invent your own information management workflows, or build bots to do things for you, if you have RSI, or are quadriplegic, you are hamstrung from creating the very easy-to-create tools that would get you out of your hole of disempowerment. They say: “all tragedy can be summed up into words ‘potential lost’”. It’s a tragedy when problems are so easily solvable for people from a technical standpoint, and the only thing blocking them is low-cost* willingness to cooperate on the part of players involved. What other instances are there of this that you can think of? My sense is we could all be living life with vastly less effort if a few of these low-hanging fruit cooperation problems were solved.
(Examples from me include: LinkedIn automation being blocked, XMPP - interoperating chat protocols dying, and critical wellness knowledge for humanity, eg great yoga classes, being trapped behind paywalls (for that matter, and the lack of at-will random access to high-quality wellness program video content in prisons. Yet we all live in the lesser prison of capitalist structures until all empowering know-how is free…the dream of http://codex.jacobcole.net))
- One may argue that it’s technically not low-cost, and cuts into Facebook’s margins, etc. So the actual cost of playing by the “information wants to be free“ open Web playbook could potentially be high in terms of lost profit potential. Maybe I’m just annoyed because as someone who formerly had debilitating RSI, I identify with those receiving the short end of the stick here 🙈. That said, there’s a sense in which I really believe the higher purpose of technology is to be empowering to people (e.g. make people's lives easier), versus an agent of oppression.

What motivates us right now is that we see the most fundamental pressing problem in the world is that human activity is scattered:
People with synergistic ideas in research groups, big companies, and society aren't aware of each other (Tim Berners-Lee says "There are millions of scientists trying to cure the likes of AIDS and Alzheimer's. Maybe the cure is currently separated in different people's heads. How can we design the web so that these half-formed solutions can come together How can we build a really creative space for scientists?" in

News media has a short attention span; we hear about bombings in Syria and earthquakes in Haiti one week and something else the next, even if the problems aren't resolved. Resultingly, the well-being of suffering people is at the mercy of what entertains the first world.
This isn't okay.
Minsky teaches us that a mind is a system to meditate between a collection of little agents, and that society is a mind. This mind is currently scatterbrained.
In the abstract, the goal of this project is to build a "gestalt processing system for society" (ref: link on http://ideaflow.jacobcole.net) so that everyone, everywhere can be included in the circle of humanity. It is to lift the fog of non connection that sits on the world between people and their ideas, and build the giant global graph. It is to create a system to relate ideas - a rudimentary intelligence able to, for fundamental reasons, make broader connections than any single brain - which, as a side effect, produces a new paradigm for conducting Internet research that is better informed than Google for many tasks (ref: http://researchlists.jacobcole.net). In the same breath, it also incidentally produces a new type of smart text document not trapped in the paradigm of static paper.
The data collected from this system is vast and hopes to lay the groundwork for strong AI that produces new ideas autonomously.
In parallel, a second problem we see is that many of the smartest people we know spend their days working to improve the ad recommendation system on Facebook instead of curing cancer or building strong AI. We are, ultimately, striving to give these people a materially equally appealing or more appealing alternative option that also gives them an opportunity to directly help people!
