PINNACLES

CAMPGROUND

  • “Campground is located on the east side of Pinnacles National Park off Hwy 25.”
  • Reserved Friday 8/13 - Sunday 8/15
  • Sites 90 & 93, Loop D (this is car camping!)
  • 6 occupants + 3 tents + 2 vehicles per site
  • Check-in time: 1pm
  • Check-out time: 11am
  • “Wood campfires and charcoal grills are prohibited, propane stoves still allowed only in campground and picnic areas. No fireworks, or smoking on trail.”
  • “Swimming pool open from April 1 through Sept. 30, weather permitting.” 👀 💦
  • “ Vehicles that do not fit in spur must be parked in the overflow parking area near the campground store.”

GEAR

  • Sleeping bag
  • Sleeping pad
  • tent?
  • day pack for carrying water + lunch
  • big water bottles !!!
  • sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, etc
  • shoes for hiking
  • shoes for camp
  • dish & utensils for eating

Hannah has one extra of the following: egg carton sleeping pad and headlamp.
Also have 2 person tent

FOOD

We will bring food from Idyllwild + stop at grocery store on the way. Cooking with Hannah’s stove. Hannah is there enough fuel in your stove for 2 dinners + 2 breakfasts for everyone?

  • Propane tank is about half full, probably a good idea to grab another one
  • Have 2 canisters for my jet boil which should be enough for boiling water for coffee/ tea/etc
