Hacksphere Startups
Hacksphere early-stage startups that are hiring people for a critical role
Updated 9/25/16
Here are some excellent seed+ funded startups founded by friends in hacksphere, including mine:
Early Software Engineer at Clover Intelligence - San Francisco · Full Time Clover is an AI platform for enterprise voice. Our vision is to be the hub of all business conversations, which accounts for 70% of all business transactions globally.

SF
Qualia - Software platform to ease title insurance and escrow process for real estate. Co-founded by my absurd beast of a former MIT prefrosh, Lucas Hansen, raised a Series A, looking for a smart engineer that wants to “own security on a system that will move many billions of dollars.”

SF
SF
Pagedraw - First they built a Sketch clone in the browser that writes React/Angular/ERB/PHP/etc code so you don’t have to. Next, they plan to take over the world if I know Jared Pochtar. They’re finishing up senior year at Harvard, just raised a seed round, and are looking for people with any and all of the following skills: compilers, performance engineering, distributed systems, or webdev. [email protected]
(today - May 2017) Boston, (July 2017 - future) SF
IdeaFlow - My life’s all-consuming passion for the past three years elegantly (if I do say so myself) crystalized into a vision for a product that will strike at the root of the biggest problems I see present in the world today (ask me!). We’ve built a small piece of that vision so far: a human-AI hybrid Web platform for teams to collaboratively create and visualize large knowledge graphs, which is currently used by companies including Silicon Valley Bank and Bainbridge Capital. This is the first step in a larger project to realize Vannevar Bush’s original vision for the Memex and my research advisor Tim Berners-Lee’s original vision for the Web : to create “shared brains for organizations” linked to a personal notes/knowledge base platform. We’ve raised $1.8M and are looking for a great full stack web developer who wants to become our lead engineer, feel like another co-founder, and amplify human intelligence forever. Sending a larger discussion soon. Also hiring a mobile engineer. [email protected] Palo Alto area and SF
Cobalt Robotics . We build indoor security guard robots! We use a semi-autonomous model to have the robot do the boring 99% of a security job, and then pull in a human operator to help make decisions in really tricky situations. We believe security is the first step to general purpose mobile robots deployed in buildings all across the country. Hiring a Perception or Full-Stack-Robotics engineer! [email protected] Palo Alto area (Mountain View)
Remedy . We are building a new kind of primary care clinic from the ground up, using technology to make cutting-edge concierge healthcare universally accessible and affordable. Today's healthcare system is disgustingly inefficient. Physicians spend 70% of their time on paperwork and the average medical practice is 17 years behind clinically-validated best practices. Our ecosystem of automation technologies minimizes administrative distractions so our physicians can focus on building strong relationships with their patients. Because we save doctors time, we save our patients money. We are also working on data driven diagnostics and personalization engines that bring the cutting edge of medicine to the front lines lines of care. We are looking for brilliant individuals interested in rebuilding the healthcare system with us. [email protected] SF
