We're a group of mid-20s to mid-30s adults who work in a range of professions, from data engineering to founders to design to marketing. Our hobbies are even wider-ranging - we have jazz aficionados, survival enthusiasts, science illustration nerds, wrestling queens, bread bakers, runners, bikers, plant lovers, skilled cooks, roller skaters, and many more. From deep conversations to cuddling around the fire, we generally try to make space to connect and really get to know each other.
How we spend our time
•
🏃‍♀️ Staying Active: Some of us go run together multiple times per week, do fitness videos together, or yoga in the garden. And we wrestle!
•
🏕 Outdoors: Camping (& survival!) trips, hikes, candle-light cuddle puddles in the park, and lots of ocean & beach time
•
👩‍🍳 Cooking. Most evenings you'll see housemates in the kitchen cooking together, and it's a major bonding and decompression time for the house.
•
🎭 Creativity and elaborate weekend productions. Just last weekend we put on an immersive theater birthday party for a housemate and it was an absolute blast.
•
🎵 Music! We do uke & guitar jam sessions (you gotta learn Riptide), play the piano, and dance in the living room
•
🧘‍♀️ Mindfulness. We have a few regular meditators in the house and we generally try to stay present and embrace NVC!
•
🎉 Party (: Most birthdays and major events lead to big fun parties, usually themed. We're looking forward to inviting some other group houses and the larger community to some backyard events when we're post-covid as well.
•
🧊 Chill. Many evenings we just hang out and read together, too :).
Who we're looking for
We're looking to live with supportive, invested, and respectful community members.  We don't care about what you do or how you do it, but we are looking for someone who actively contributes to the community in their own unique way, keeps shared spaces neat, practices good communication, and is as stoked to hang out with us as we are with you! We love makers, creativity, easy-going-ness, and a willingness to do. If you're enthusiastic, kind, and love to be around humans who are the same, this is the place for you! (:

Cost for the full month is $1965 and includes communal food and utilities. The room gets great natural light, overlooks our garden, comes with a bed, desk and large closet space. Plenty of floor space if you're a mover/dancer - I have two huge mirrors and roll up the shag rug to practice.

The house is a gorgeous historic Victorian with an intricate history, large communal spaces, and noteworthy wallpaper. We often play music in the giant parlor, watch movies together on the projector, hang out on the roof deck with panoramic views or cook for each other in the kitchen (our favorite gathering space). We're centrally located: two blocks from Dolores Park and one block from Valencia Street. This is an opportunity to join a truly unique group in a spectacular setting.

We’re a group of about a dozen people ranging in ages from 25-45. Mix of entrepreneurs, animators, writers, musicians, product managers, designers, etc. We love living with each other and each bring unique creative contributions to the environment: weekly Saturday night dance party, neighborhood choir, Sci-Fi cinema nights, writing salons. And we continue to host these kinds of experiences for one another during quarantine! We put a lot of love and care into our home and are looking for a person specifically interested in communal living.

We're taking shelter-in-place seriously and adhering to a list of community agreements. Interested folks should be practicing social distancing and be willing to read and agree to our terms.
